Common Issues & Solutions

My birth time is showing the wrong timezone

Astroze automatically detects timezone based on your birth location, but historical timezone changes can sometimes cause confusion. Double-check that your birth location is correct, and remember that birth certificates usually record local standard time (not daylight saving time). If you're still seeing incorrect results, our timezone converter can help you manually verify the correct UTC offset for your birth.

Aspects aren't showing in my chart

First, ensure you're viewing the correct chart type, some aspects only appear in specific modes. If aspects still don't appear, check your orb settings (this feature may be in chart configuration). Astroze uses standard orbs but allows customization. Also, use the highlighting feature, click on any planet to isolate its aspects, making them easier to see.

Chart calculations differ from other websites

Astroze uses Swiss Ephemeris for NASA-level calculation accuracy. Minor differences with other sites usually come from different house systems (we default to Placidus), orb tolerances, or which celestial bodies are included. Our calculations are scientifically precise, if you see significant differences, it's likely due to different astrological techniques rather than calculation errors.

I can't find a specific location

Try searching with different variations: city name alone, city + state, city + country. For smaller towns, search for the nearest major city instead, a few miles usually won't significantly affect chart calculations except for exact angles. For historical charts, note that some location names have changed over time; try searching for the modern name.

The financial chart isn't loading market data

Financial market data requires an active internet connection and valid TradingView integration. Ensure you're using a supported symbol (try BTC/USD, ETH/USD, or major stock symbols). If data still won't load, check your browser console for errors, or try refreshing the page. Some symbols may have limited historical data availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Astroze free to use?

Yes, Astroze's core features including natal charts, transit tracking, synastry analysis, and basic financial astrology are completely free. We believe professional-grade astrological tools should be accessible to everyone, whether you're a beginner exploring your first chart or a professional astrologer serving clients.

How accurate are the calculations?

Astroze uses Swiss Ephemeris, the same astronomical calculation library used by NASA and professional observatories worldwide. Planetary positions are accurate to 0.001 degrees (1 arc-second), which is beyond what's needed for astrological interpretation. You can trust that the positions you see represent the actual sky at your specified time and location.

Can I save multiple charts?

Yes, Astroze allows you to save and manage multiple subject charts. Create charts for yourself, family members, friends, or clients. All saved charts remain accessible through the subject selector in the navigation bar. Your data is stored locally in your browser for privacy.

What house system do you use?

By default, Astroze uses the Placidus house system, which is the most common system in Western astrology. Different house systems divide the chart differently, but all are mathematically valid approaches. If you prefer Whole Sign, Koch, or another system, check your chart settings for customization options.

Do you offer professional features for practicing astrologers?

Yes, Astroze is designed to serve both beginners and professional astrologers. Features like synastry analysis, precise aspect calculations, customizable orbs, and financial astrology tools are all built with professional practice in mind. We're continually adding features based on feedback from working astrologers.

Is my data private and secure?

Absolutely. Birth charts contain sensitive personal information. Astroze stores your chart data locally in your browser, not on our servers. This means your birth information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it. We don't track, sell, or monetize your personal astrological data.
